Jelly Roll drops divorce vlog after split from Bunnie Xo


Jelly Roll shares an update with fans after filing for divorce from Bunny Xo after 10 years of marriage.

The “Save Me” singer, 41, posted a video with the title “The Divorce Vlog” via YouTube on Friday, June 19, after news of his divorce was announced earlier this week.

“What’s up YouTube, guess who’s left?” Jelly Roll said as he introduced the vlog. “You didn’t think you’d hear from me this week, did you? I bet you were all like, ‘There’s no way we’re going to hear from Jelly Roll this week. He’s in the middle of a divorce. There’s no way we’re going to hear.’

He confirmed that he would address his split, adding: “You will hear about the divorce at the end of this vlog.”

Jelly Roll doubled down in the Vlog’s caption, promising to clear up any misunderstandings surrounding his relationship with Bunnie.

“Well I got divorced,” he captioned the photo. “You’ve all seen the headlines. Heard the rumors. Read whatever your cousin’s friend’s co-worker said on Facebook. I’m not going to sit here and pretend none of that happened—but I also think you all deserve to hear it directly instead of through fifteen rounds of phone calls. So okay, everyone—let’s finally talk about this.”

After sharing behind-the-scenes footage from his music career, Jelly Roll kept his promise to mention his and Bunnie’s breakup at the end of the video.

“Alright everyone, I told you I’d give you the piping hot tea about the divorce. I know you’ve been waiting. Are you ready?” teased the musician.

Jelly Roll, who had a phone in his hand, then revealed Bunnie at the end of the line.

“Mama bear, tell them where to find it,” he told her before she gave a plug to her podcast.

“Okay guys, go over to my YouTube, ‘Dumb Blonde’ pod, watch ‘The Divorce’ podcast. All your questions will be answered,” Bunnie, 46, said.

Jelly Roll then joked, “Yeah, you all thought we’d hate each other, didn’t you? Plot twist, bitches!”

After promoting Bunnie’s podcast, the couple ended the call by telling each other they loved each other.

In Bunnie’s podcast episode, which was released on Thursday, June 18, she shared candid details of the reasons behind their separation and shot down speculation that the marriage ended due to infidelity.

“On Mother’s Day we had a little argument that I don’t think the details are necessary,” she explained. “And in that argument, I was so tired and so tired that I just looked at him and said, ‘Well, file the damn divorce papers.'”

After the podcast dropped, Jelly Roll spoke publicly about the split on stage in Saratoga Springs, NY, part of his tour.

“Me and my wife are best friends. We’ll always be best friends. We just got off the phone earlier today,” he said. “Nobody cheated on anybody. She just did a whole podcast about it. You can go watch it. Every word of it is the truth.”
